2. What we collect and why
This is a brochure website with no registration and no accounts. You can reach us through the contact form or by direct email. Here is what we collect:
- Information you send us through the contact form. The form at vedanine.com/contact asks for your name, email address, business name, an optional website address, what you need, and a description of what you want more customers to do. Purpose: to answer your enquiry. That is the only purpose. The message is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and a copy of the same notification is sent to a private messaging account we control so that enquiries are not missed. Nothing you type is sent to Google Analytics or to any advertising service. Consent basis: you provide the information voluntarily by submitting the form.
- Information you send us by email. When you email studio@vedanine.com to request a review of your marketing or inquire about services, we receive your name, email address, website URL, and anything else you include in the message. Purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if we proceed, to deliver the requested review or engagement. Consent basis: you provide this information voluntarily by initiating contact.
- Server and connection data. Like all websites, this site is served through Cloudflare, which processes connection metadata (including IP address, browser type, and request logs) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not receive or store this data directly. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
-
Google Analytics, and the cookies it sets. Since 2 September 2026 this
site runs Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2VGDBPRPEY). It sets cookies in your browser
so that repeat visits from the same device are counted once rather than as several people.
Purpose: to see which pages are read, where visitors arrive from, and how many enquiries
the site produces, so that the site can be improved. We have turned OFF Google Signals and
advertising personalisation, and IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We do not
build advertising audiences from this site and we do not sell or share the data.
What is measured: pages viewed, how far down a page you scroll, clicks on links that leave the site, clicks on our contact buttons and email address, the moment you begin typing in the contact form, and the fact that a form submission succeeded together with which of the four options you picked. What is never measured: your name, your email address, your business name, your website address, or the text of your message. Those go to our inbox and nowhere else.
To opt out entirely, install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies for this site in your browser settings. The site works normally either way. See Google's privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
Personal information is used only for the purposes identified at the time of collection:
- To respond to your inquiry and deliver the requested review or scoping conversation.
- To follow up on an active engagement or proposal, where you have asked us to do so.
- We do not add your email address to a marketing list without your explicit consent. If we send you an unsolicited commercial electronic message (CEM) in the future, we will do so only on a valid consent basis under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and every such message will include a working opt-out.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. Information may be processed by the following service providers as part of operating this website and communicating with you:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), website hosting and content delivery via Cloudflare Pages. Connection-level data is processed under Cloudflare's terms.
- Zoho Corporation, email received at studio@vedanine.com is processed through Zoho Mail, on Zoho's Canadian data centre. Governed by Zoho's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Resend (United States), the service that delivers a contact-form submission to our inbox. It processes everything you enter in the form, in transit, in order to send that one email. Governed by Resend's privacy policy.
- Telegram Messenger (data processed outside Canada), used now, not in future, to notify us the moment a contact-form enquiry arrives, so that enquiries are not missed. The notification contains your name, email address, business name, website address if you gave one, what you selected you need, and the first 500 characters of your message. It goes to one private account that we control and to no one else. Governed by Telegram's privacy policy. If you would rather your enquiry did not pass through Telegram, email studio@vedanine.com directly instead of using the form. Mail sent that way reaches Zoho only.
Cross-border note: Some or all of the service providers above process data outside Canada. By contacting us, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different privacy laws than Canada, including the United States. We use only established providers with documented privacy practices.
5. How long we keep your information
Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is needed to manage the relationship or as required by applicable law (typically three years for business correspondence under common retention practice). When information is no longer needed, it is deleted from active systems. Cloudflare log data is subject to Cloudflare's own retention periods.
6. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including: TLS encryption in transit (HTTPS enforced site-wide), 2-factor authentication on all accounts that handle personal data, and access limited to authorised personnel only. No information is stored in unencrypted plaintext outside of secured email systems.
7. Your rights
Under BC PIPA and PIPEDA you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Access and correct that information.
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information (subject to legal or contractual limits).
- Request deletion of your information, subject to any legal retention obligations.
To exercise any of these rights, email studio@vedanine.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC at oipc.bc.ca or the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
8. Children
This website is directed at business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, please notify us and we will delete that information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business and its tools evolve. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted here.
